Mixing Tips

Hello everyone, I know there are some really talented mixing engineers on these boards. What I like to do is keep a Word file of all mixing tips I get from around the net. Post any of your tips and tricks here!

P.S. I am sure this has been discussed, but A. I couldn't fin it and B. New users and tips I'm sure are around... so post away.

stop listening to the mix, start listening to the song.

take risks. if you want to be noticed, safe is the riskiest choice of all.

when in doubt, push it more.

every sound in almost every song you've ever loved hit tape tape at least twice. take a hint.

i could do this all night thumbsup .
