Soundcraft Ghost, no connector?? help!!!!

I own a Soundcraft Ghost 24 LE, and I'm very happy with it. Recently I got the chance to buy the expander 24 channels. Assuming I could just hook it up to the Ghost, I bought it. It appears now, that my Ghost does not have the "to expander" connector at the back. There is a preparation for it, but no connector. Is there a card or something which can/should be pluged in, inside my Ghost? Anybody got experience here? The manual says nothing about it.

Email Soundcraft.. they were super helpful when I got mine.

The guy I dealt with in service was Richard Morris.. no idea if he's still there, but I'd give it a try.

Thanks for the advise. I just send an email. Hopefully this can be solved with some kind of card which can be added.

Hi, the Expander came with the cables and an "Expander Card" that you would have to open up the main console and install. Chances are, the guy who sold you the expander still has that card inside his main console. Hopefully, he will be able to give it to you... if not, we can make the "Expander Card" from scratch - we did it a few times before... let us know if you need an expander card built... Thanks Alex, now I understand. So there is a card involved here. The guy who sold me the board, does not have his ghost anymore. He sold it to, so that's not an option. Could you pm me about the possibilities and costs?
