Thread Starter | FYI: James Hetfield of Metallica uses the SM7...A!!!
I know it has already been discussed a few times about seeing James Hetfield using an SM7 for vocals in the movie documentary Some Kind of Monster, but I was watching it on DVD the other day and realized that a really good close-up in the movie at T1:C31 (1hr:50min:31sec) reveals he's actually singing into an SM7A. To most I'm sure this is not shocking or earth shattering news, but to those curious Metallica fans out there and those who are interested in or are convinced that there is a difference between SM7, SM7A, and SM7B, I thought I'd throw this little tidbit of info out there.
