8 channel mixer for OTB and EQ

Any suggestions for a good vintage mixer that I can use for mixing 8 channels of drums OTB and will give me some nice warm EQ's? Not too fussed about the pre's but a meter bridge would be nice - I'm got my eye on an Allen and Heath GS1 but I'm looking for some other sub £500 suggestions?
