Strymon Timeline... Anyone tried it in the studio on vox?

I'm curious if anyone has messed with this. I have one on my pedalboard, and it'd be cool to try. I just haven't done anything with it yet. Anyone tried it? Got any audio samples?

I tried El capistan and it worked amazing. In fact it was the only space element in the mix.

It's been a while, but I'm still wondering if anyone has tried Strymon's pedals in a mix. I have a Timeline, El Cap, and BlueSky. I may try them out soon.

Why don't you just try? It's a delay. It's simply going to be a matter of taste whether you like it, just like with any other delay device.

If the broader question is what will it be like using a digital pedal as bus EFX...no-one will know but you unless you tell them. I see L6 DL4s and Eventide TimeFactors used often as desktop delay devices. They sound great.

It sounds awesome. It is converting at 24/96 internally. The quality is great.

Planning on trying this week but wanted to see if anyone else had or if I was just crazy.

Tundra, what sounds did you try/like?

Yeah, I had the Timeline as an Aux effect on a couple of tracks on our new album - one with a tape delay and the other was the Ice engine I think.

Worked great, midi input syncs perfectly, easy as can be if u've got a patchbay.
