I am repairing an Audix ADX-50 from our church that one of the leads from the capsule to the board had become disconnected. I have looked online for information about this microphone, but have turned up very little beyond the spec sheet from Audix (Audix doesn't even have this particular model on their website that I could find).
As you can see in the picture, there is a switch inside of the microphone with no way to access it from the outside of the microphone (would never have even known it was there unless I had to take it apart to repair it- it was covered with that plastic insulator too). Does anyone know what this switch is for? I know the current offering by Audix (the ADX-51 - extremely similar to the ADX-50) has bass rolloff and pad switches, but I have no idea what this switch is for.
I am just curious about this and thought I would throw it out there in case anyone has run into this before and to preserve the question for posterity.

Thanks!
