How bout some limericks?

Today's engineering obsession
Is massive and brutal compression.
Two by fours on the screen
Where dynamics had been
Lead me to fits of depression.

Nice!

I wanted a U47
'Cause everyone said it was heaven.
But 10 and a half grand
For a frankenmic, damn!
So I opted for 2 CM7's

Instead I bought 2 matched CM7's
Me likee!
But take "matched" out of the last line for meter.

There once was a man from Japan
Whose Limericks would never quite scan
When told this was so
He said "oh I don't know
I just try to cram as many syllables into the last line as I think that I possible can"

Try standing with your
guitar in front of the amp;
guaranteed feedback!

================

got nothing to say
no further contribution
just wasting haiku

================

Christopher Walken
asks for "More cowbell!" but some
people miss the point.

================

"GOOD EVENING, HOUSTON!"
(sorry, just practicing for
upcoming concert.)

"ARE YOU READY TO
ROCK? DO YOU LIKE MY TIGHT PANTS?"
(I'm a dinosaur.)

I would take "2" out!

scans pretty much the same, but retains more of the original meaning:

"2" is implied by "matched" but 'matched' is not necessarily implied by '2'
