Thread Starter | acoustic instrument tuner help?
I play a bunch of guitars and acoustic slides as well as lap steel on stage using a mic instead of a DI (don't want to change that). Don't want a tuner on each instrument, and I love the TU-2 -- it works great on electrics of course. So I brought my Great River mic pre on stage, ran the mic in, took the xlr out to feed the house system and the 1/4 inch out to the TU-2. Problem is, the TU-2 doesn't like the line level signal, and works, but poorly. Any thoughts? How to insert some step down before the tuner? what else?
