01v96 controller?

Are any of you 01v96 users using it as a controller for Protools? How does it work for you? How about summing with it? I have one I use for monitoring, but haven't exploited it for much else yet. I use UA, Portico, Chandler and ISA pre's to an Alesis HD24XR and mix/edit with Protools le.

i'm using a Dm1000 as a controller for PT & logic, i like the controller function a lot more on PT than logic, but i also haven't read the manual on how to best utilize it w/ logic yet so.....

How about automation does that work well with your DM1000?

i haven't tried that yet...to be honest, i have barely used it for more than doing some playing around, nothing for super-intensive mixing. I just got the dm1000 and have been in the middle of a major overhaul in the studio since, which should be done in the next 2 weeks or so
