Jerry Finn's Vocal Chain of Choice

Hey, does anyone know what vocal chain Jerry Finn likes? i've seen various blink videos and i've always dug the vocal tone Jerry seems to get (not to mention the stuff he's done for Sum 41, MxPx, etc)...i thought I saw Tom Delonge singing into a Blue Kiwi, but i'm just curious, seeing as he seems to like chandlers & joemeek stuff (well, at least from "endorsements")

danka,

Good question. I'd like to know as well - I'm a big fan of Finn's stuff.

Martech MSS-10 is part of it:

It made the vocals sound really present, which required less EQ and less compression to really get them to stand out on the track." - Jerry Finn, Producer on recording Blink 182’s albums Take Off Your Pants & Jacket and Enema of the State

I know he used a Blue Bottle on the last two AFI records(one has yet to be released)....and blue mics on other things as well.

EDIT:
I remember seeing footage of blink182's last record with jerry finn and there were BLUE mics everywhere.

On all the blink records he used a baby bottle with the martech. I know on the new alkaline trio he used a baby bottle on one of the guys and a SM7 on the other.

He said in an EQ magazine how the baby bottle is his favorite vocal mic and the martech his favorite vocal pre..

I really like jerry's work.. Love to hear him do something a little heavier..
