Do you find this realistic?!

A..... Home (basement) studio 7.5 foot ceilings, 16-bit ADAT, Mackie 8-bus board

B..... Commercial studio with 16 foot ceilings, 2" 24 track analog, Trident Series 80 board

(listen to the sample)

A-B

If this is true I don't want to record in a commercial studio...!

alot of the ABs were suprising. with the mackie vs trident, i think on refelection the trident had the edge. Anyway, i think it goes to show that if an engineer knows what he/she is doing, you can make most gear work for you.
