Thread Starter | Buying couple more Mic Pre
I already have Great River MP-2NV and just ordered API A2D for the new project studio I’m putting together. Will be buying two more units for more flavor and to compliment the ones I already own. Tested or worked on most of these units (except the API A2D) and love them all but will only buy 2 of the following units. Wunder PaFour Chandler Germanium Shadow Hills Gama Any suggestions from people who work with these units regularly? |

out of those 3 I like the wunders. Really sweet sound. The germanium is kinda spongy and 'old' sounding which is not to my liking. It's a cool unit for a retro vibe but I like a polished pristine sound. The gama is nice its kinda like an api 512 on Anadrol and with more features They are all good but I think the wunder is the best for me. what type of music do you usually produce?? I would say the gama is the best as far as being versatile though and is a great price. I think I paid 650 for mine |
