Does anyone else keep getting logged out while posting & browsing?

It seems like every fifth or sixth post or page I click on logs me out of GS & I have to log in again. It's like the cookie is being lost or deleted or something. I'll be reading a thread & I'm logged in, click on "reply" and I need to log in again.

Its not a huge deal to log back in but this is starting to get annoying...like five or six times inside of an hour & it's been happening for two solid days.

Is this happening to anyone else or is something funky with my 'puter?

FWIW, posting anywhere else (like TapeOp or the Seymour Duncan board) is problem free...it's ONLY on GS.

Thanks!

Yup, took me all day to post a drum kit for sale with pics in the classifieds. Just had to keep coming back, the site's been pretty bad lately.

Yeah, I get logged out all the time. Especially while posting. I'll log in, write the post, and be asked to log in again before posting.

YES. It started about five days ago and it's getting more frequent. It happens almost every time I try to 'mark all topics as read'. I have also noticed that I don't get automatically logged in when I visit the site, about 50% of the time.

yes
I wanted to post in this thread. I clicked on the button and nothing happened. I left the room and worked on the crossword puzzle for 20 minutes and when I came back the Reply To Thread page had finally arrived.

It seems that pages are not completely loading. (102 of 104 items right now and holding, holding, holding.)

In a way, it is worse than the previous round of troubles. I mean it would swallow your posts, but once you got wise, if you copied it to the clipboard you could simply post again and it was pretty fast.

This is slow. Or stop and go

I'm glad I'm not alone here!

Jules & Meg (and crew)....whuz the good word here?

Are we doomed to having to log in every 10 minutes for the rest of our natural lives or what?

Everything works fine on my powerbook...

edit that... when I just posted this, safari 'unexpectedly quit.'

But, no logging out or anything... browsing works fine, I think that safari quit was just a fluke.
