A good home recording preamp/interface for improving guitar tone?

Could anyone recommend a good preamp/interface for home recording, specifically, one to help guitar tones sound fuller/fatter/warmer?

Thanks!

I own a few of these and might need to sell one,All versions are great and all have a slightly diffrent feel or flavor hence why I might sell one.Plugs in between your guitar and amp and adds pure magic.

Are you looking for an interface to use with your computer that has built in mic pres/line in for direct guitar? You are not being very specific here.

I'm actually making this topic for a friend, right now he has the focusrite saffire pro 40, and he's looking to get something that will handle guitar tone better.
