Step 1: consider that Dynaudio have now moved on to the BM5A mkII Step 2: look at online retailers/ebay/Craigslist to see what these go for, new and used, kinda like this: Dynaudio BM5A MKII | Sweetwater.com Step 3: if you can hear them in person before you buy and they are in good condition, then... Step 4: consider steps 1 through 3 and see if perhaps you answered your own question. Yes, it's a good deal. |

I have seen the non MKII on here (classified) for $550. I paid $750 for my MKII's brand new. BTW, I have used many monitors and heard my as well, but for some reason, maybe it's my room or ears, dunno, these monitors make my mix sound the same no matter where I play it. I absolutely love them.

i just sold a pair for $600 in NYC, if it matters. i think anywhere between $550 and $700 is reasonable for a used pair in good shape. |
