8input recording interface

I'm looking into buying a 8 input recording interface below 2000 can anyone throw me some suggestion's thanks.

Another question to ill be recording drums guitar and vocals but ill be replacing the guitar with digital tones with a higher end audio interface will it increase the guitar quality if I'm replacing tones with digital ones.

Some ones I've been looking at are

M-Audio ProFire 2626

RME fireface 800

How about this?

Apollo High-Resolution Interface with Realtime UAD Processing

$1999 for the Duo version (although I'd spend another $500 and go quad).

Apogee Ensemble is about $1800 and sounds great. In the $1000 area the Focusrite Liquid 56 and MOTU 896Mk. 3 are great values with a very good sound.

There's the Mackie Onyx Blackbird and the Behringer ADA8000, which have eight inputs for a much lower price.
