Event 20/20 monitor users. Which amp?

Hello everyone. My old and trusty Event 20/20 powered monitors are starting to make some noises. The speaker with the amp in it is kind of humming, so I am thinking about just using a different amp to power them. The speakers still work fine, but I want to pair them with an appropriate amp. I know they made the passive model of 20/20s years ago and was hoping someone who uses those might have an amp recommendation.

I have had a pair of Adcom GFA-565s for a long time. One of them just bit the big one and I'm preparing to get it repaired and have all the caps upgraded. Bang per buck champion.

I am considering upgrading my amp for the 20/20's. Right now I have a crown d-75. Thoughts?

I have an Alesis RA100 amp powering my passive 20/20s. It's not the most "high end" power amp out there, but it does the job just fine, and has done for the 9 or 10 years I have had them hooked up this way.

I had the RA100 for quite a while, it did seem to be ok, but I always thought that the self powered 20/20's sounded a bit better (used to have a pair of those as well). I think the d-75 is a little underpowered so I am just curious if anyone else might have any input on the subject.
