Thread Starter | Ensoniq SQ-80 MIDI freezing issue
Hello everyone, I am having an issue with my SQ-80 and it is driving me nuts. Anytime I plug a MIDI cable into the thing, it will freeze up after about half a minute and I have to power it down. It happens with midi in, out or both together as long as the synth is connected to another midi device. At first I thought it was just my UNO pc midi interface, but it happens when I run it into my DSI Tetra with just a regular cable too. With no midi stuff going on, the thing runs just beautifully. I have messed with all the midi settings on the SQ80 to no avail, basically done everything but a soft reset. Any ideas before I try a reset? Think that will fix it? Thanks! |
