New Mic Recommendations 1000$ budget

Hey guys, I know you have seen my post being a Shure S7MB user. I think I might end up getting a new mic. I will be going to Guitar Center to try out some mics. I have done some research on other choices for deep voice/rap vocals. I been trying to mix my SM7B into my tracks but the vocals seem to be on top instead of "in". So I have heard great things about two certain mics I am looking into, the AT4047 and Soundelux/Brock U195. Feel free to give any suggestions for upgrade.

was going to get a U195 but decided I'll dish out more for a TM-1.. Though I would not hesitate getting the U195.. Its highly praised..

The AT 4047 was used extensively on the Tony Bennet album 'Duets' for the live recordings with the band. The vocals sound amazing on that record.
The Brauner mic's are also unbelievable... So maybe you could also check the 'Phantom' as it's in your price range.

Happy hunting

Man! Im at Guitar Center right now trying out mics. The only ones they had that I was able to try was the 414 tlm102 and u87. I liked all the mics but I have a deep voice and I was blown away by the TLM102! Very clean nice sound compared to the sm7b. I think I might go with the TLM 102. Very nice sound or price.

I use a couple of TLM102s in the studio everyday - they sounds good on EVERYTHING I've ever put them infront of. If you buy one, you won't be dissapointed

I say try an Advanced Audio CM12 or cm47. Amazing mics. I have one of their 47fet clones. Amazing.

+1 on Brauner (see if you could get a used Phantera for a lil bit more than 1k)
Other brands worth considering Gefell (maybe used), Violet Design (I saw a used Amethyst Vintage on the GS classifieds going for 1k..) or JZ (maybe the new Vintage11)..

Just my 0.02$,
