SPL meter calibration - Montreal

Hello gearslutz !

I'll keep it short and simple,

I tried to find an answer among previous threads with no luck,

My MTP-805 spl meter seems to be drifting in sensitivity, and I think it is time for it to be calibrated.

Would you know how much should that cost ? (it doesn't have to be certified amazing calibration , I'm not going to use for serious acoustics work that puts thousands of people's ear in stake.)

Living in Montreal, I tried to research places in Montreal that offer that service with not much big luck. Only service I found so far was from MTP themselves (they actually pass it to their neighbor shop PRIMO for the calibration from my understanding), that service comes up to 45$ initial un avoidable fee, and then 225$ all that +tax of course calibration fee. Now this SPL meter only cost me 140$ + tax brand new and calibrated (as it is mentioned in the manual, their spl meters are shipped well calibrated) .

Only other choice I have if I can't find any place to calibrate at a rational price I'm thinking, would be just buy a new one which is calibrated (according to the manual). Or maybe just buy one of those calibrators for 225$ each and calibrate with it (until of course this calibrator needs calibrating)...

Any ideas or would you know a price around Montreal that would do it for a reasonable price ?
