Thread Starter | Soundtracs solo 16
I have the opportunity to pick up a soundtracs solo 16 for a good price, but I probably won't be able to check it out too much beforehard. It needs a bit of cleaning up but its definitely workable. Ive never seen this particular model before, It has mute automation on it.. Ive read some positive reviews on the soundtracs solo, anyone know about this model, do they sound good? Are all of the 'solo' line pretty much the same as far as sound/ eq/ etc. ? |

I felt it was a solid and well laid-out board. You can get 40 inputs at mixdown, not counting the returns. I liked it better than the Soundcrafts in that same market range. The pres are OK, nothing special, but nothing nasty about them either. But I loved the EQs, and you can split the EQ 4 ways between the channels and the monitors.
