Mellow sounding strings - silk, or maybe not? anything else?

Hi, i own a Gibson j-50 acoustic and currently using John Pearse Phosphor Bronze Wound slightly light strings.
I like the sound of these strings a lot, its actually quite mellow which i like, except for the high strings - the high E and B. these high stings are too bright and metallic for my taste. i want it to be more warm, mellow and even "dull" if you like.
Now, i did some research, and i read a lot of recommendations about "silk and steel" strings. but when i checked on some silk and steel strings specs, it says the there isn't any silk on the two highest strings at all, which are exactly the strings that are too bright for me. am i right here? or is there something else that i don't know?
anyway, if you have any strings to recommand for what i'm looking for, please do.

Here's some example of the kind of sound i'm looking for as i described: Her Hands Were Leaves : Alexi Murdoch - YouTube

Thanks

Try the silk and steels - I love them on Ovations and Taylors and they tame the brightness. I guess not all steel strings are the same ... I don't think they are phosphorus steel, so they are probably not as bright even without the silk.
