What do you guys think the next logical step would be? Equipment wise

So here's what I have to work with so far:

Mics:
Beta 52a
Beta 56a
Beta 57a
SM 57 x2
SM 58 x2
SM 137 x2
Sm7b
AT 4033
AT 2020
AT 2021
EV RE320
AKG C2000
AKG C1000
Sennheiser e906
Samson C03
A CAD drum kit pack that I don't care at all about, but it's sitting there in the studio.

Front end:
Focusrite saffire Pro40
Line 6 UX8 via spdif to the saffire
for a grand total of 10 inputs...

A pair of Yamaha HS50m

Have a fairly decent amount of plugins, compter hardware is ok, room acoustics are barely ok, but we are planning of moving out of our current space, so investing in more treatment is not my primary goal here for now.

Have an ok collection and access to of guitars, basses, amps, drums, cymbals and just about anything you need to play rock, from vintage Gibsons, Teles, Gretsch, Acoustics, and around probably 50-60 stompboxes of all sizes and colors.

Now here's the deal, what piece would you upgrade next. I have around a thousand bucks to burn right now (not much I know), I'm thinking getting an Octopre or a Digimax, or even a 2nd Pro40 and ditching the UX8, or just keep it to fill rack space, people coming in seem to dig racks and shiny lights and stuff like that. Our room isn't that big but bands seem to dig the fact that they can track all live, i could use the extra ins.

We do mostly rock indie kinda stuff, some metal also.
Mics are probably out of the question, I'm constantly buying mics, so I know sooner or later the locker will grow. Please take into account I'm not in the US and we don't get many products here, and importing as an individual most of the times ends up in taxes actually being as much as the piece you are buying. So I'm stuck with local retail, going up to the US to pick up a 1000 dollars piece is just not worth it.

So shoot, what do you think?

dude just save the money till you have more. if you have a good computer and plugs, the next step will be monitors, DA converter mics and outboard - this stuff adds up quickly - don't worry about the bling lights - just do a good job. I would say maybe look at going up to at least 16 inputs, but then depends on what music you do. gearlust is like a drug - don't spend money unless it's REALLY needed

IceWood Studios: Think you misread. I don't want bling or shiny lights, that was an irony. And yeah going up to 16 Ins was what I resorted to as my first option. Monitors are listed there too, not the fanciest ones but they get the job done. We do rock, indie, metal stuff.

How do you find the SM137s on overheads? I'm guess for indi rock you could probably upgrade your sound with a more high end pair of overheads.

Then again ... do you use drum replacement software? The money might be better spent on high end samples ...

I think they are ok, nothing more, nothing less, a bit bright, which is nice for some stuff. I have a couple of 414's on my to do list for this year, but for now gotta work with what I have.

Drum replacement is not really my thing, unless we're talking super technical metal and stuff like that, but haven't have one of those bands in the studio yet. I do have some pretty cool bass drum samples which I have used along with Drumagog in the past.
