I finally got a pair, back ordered, and..... Compaired to my memory of my original 32264a's these things are so close that it is criminal...criminal for me to justify paying 5x for vintage ones.... This is my 2nd post cause I feel vindicated. I had to sell my originals to make it thru a rough spot and when I saw these at aes I freeeeeeeeked. I was working for mercury ( seriously killer stuff) at aes and snuck off to find the neve 500 series copy of the 32264's. I pulled the trigger, have had them for a week and they are so close if not right there.... My favorit thing on these is the comp and limit at same time that just locks the vocal or bass in and it just cruses thru the mix. Also, the slow attack setting was something I never thought of, but for mix buss it is a bonus....gushy and thick....nice comp and for once!!!! I'm stoked with a new comp! Besides my tsl 3 : ) So Sent from my DROID2 using Gearslutz.com |
