Best DI for Bass Gtr. with a DW Fearn VT2 pre ?

sage691 Lives for gear Joined: May 2006 Posts: 1,252 Thread Starter	Best DI for Bass Gtr. with a DW Fearn VT2 pre ? Whaddya slutz think ? Passive or active ? Just trying to figure this one out. With a pre like the Fearn I'm figuring I don't need a super expensive DI like a Reddi. In the past I used a BSS Ar133. I have 2 bass gtrs -- a NICE Rickenbacker and a Washburn. Not quite sure what the pickups are on either. Peeps around here seem to recommend the Radial JDI passive for use with a killer tube pre. Will that cut the mustard for fairly loud rock/pop bass gtr. ?
