I dunno, reaks of a false auction to me. Lot's of misspelled words, all caps, typos, no feedback on the seller who just registered today. Plus, the $22K USD price tag seems way high to me.

Buyer beware.

Looks like a side-car from Peter Duncan in the UK.

8 SSL channels will run you between $12K and $15K alone(and they have to be bought used so that means some one has to track them down).

The bucket costs around $7500 and with all of the added amenities(master fader, headphone jack and others) it starts to add up.

E-series strips are about $1000 each. If you like to buy 8 strips off of me for $15k, then please pm me.

Hey we sold 8 E strips for $15k.

They have gone up in value(especially the ones with the E242 EQ).

Which one's you got?

I know some one who is looking to fill out a bucket here in the city.

You can find an SSL cheap now just about anywhere(the one me and my partner picked up was $20K for a 56 channel 6000E).
It needed crazy work though($10K worth actually).

The E242 black EQ's are still in high demand. Its like the MIX Core and the Mixfarm cards in PT, most people look out for the mixfarm cards for the extra processing power(more plugs). That's helped them retain their value. The SSL channels are becoming the same thing.

I guess I was looking at it from a sonic perspective, not actual parts value. From my angle, if I wanted to spend that much on a small mixer I'd have one made out of the Forssell channel strips, but that's just me. Thanks.
