Tales Of The Amazing NEVE 5402 Chapter 1

In the process of hooking up the patch and all for my 5402.

from first listening tests,
this thing is UNBELIEVABLE!!

no eq -just line inputs and 2 mic input BUT--
a main topic of interest seem to be tone enhancers such as HEDD192(which i got 2 weeks ago), Fatso, Dangerous(sort of), etc.

well, never heard such enhancment to signal before this neve.this is absolutly night and day, and its not even recapped...

no more paper thin digital highs and a nice huge fat bump in the low/low-mid area.suddenly i can turn on serious volume without ripping ears out.round warm fat sound.

this is the best thing i ever bought.it even sends the amazing HEDD192 for a serious run for cover in terms of rounding and warming and fattening the sound.
would be nice to have have eq...well,at least its gonna keep me from overdoing stuff (not...).part

golly, even my NS10's sound fat-whats going on???

and the icing on this cake --i paid a little less then the per channel price of dangerous(i have 24 inputs) not to mention the gorgeusness of a '76 grey neve with P&G faders and those sexy blue caps!!

more salivating later.

grab one if you can find it!
