how to get my macbook pro to recognize my rosetta 200 optical input?

hey guys need some help on how to get my macbook to recognize my rosetta 200.

I have the cable that is needed to go from the optical and into my macbook pro, but am having trouble getting it to work in logic, or how to get my computer to recognize it

the rosetta is registering sound though

In System Preferences, go into the SOUND section.

Change the Audio Input to Digital IN. Then just make sure build in audio is selected in your DAW's audio settings.

hey guys thanks, but I am not seeing the Digital IN option showing up, just to make sure (and thanks in advance for any help anxious to get this all setup)

I am running the cable from the optical out of the rosetta in the macbook pro

but do not see on the panel where I change the optical output of the rosetta to S/PDIF
