| Gear maniac | Crazy Patch Bay Question
I have a patch bay that's automated. IN SETTING ONE: I have A synthesizer going into the patch bay. 1 and 2. I automate in the front that those two ins will go out to OUT 1 and 2 which is going inside my A/D interface In SETTING TWO: I have a synth going into 3 and 4... ETC. In the front panel in it goes into out 1 and 2(automated) but these two synths cant play at the same time. In an automated patch bay you can't set 3 and 4 to the same outs as 1 and 2, in setting one, so I created setting two, so I can scroll through my settings and all synthesizers are ready to rock in a push of a button. Now here comes the question. In the back of my CM AUTOMATION PM216 it reads::: look below:: (This PM 216 is rare, because it actually has all of these inputs and not breakout cables) INs 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 1-8SUM 9-16SUM OUTs 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 1-8SUM 9-16SUM ^ the number are where holes are btw IN 1-8SUM is One Hole, 9-16SUM is one hole... and in the OUT etc Is there a way where I can cable it, so I can hear both my synths at once??! thanks alot! |
