Thread Starter | Would Fireface 800 be upgrade over Panasonics?
Curious to know if anyone has ever went from the Panasonic/Ramsa WZAD96 and WZDA 96 to a Fireface 800? I would like to have a mobile rig but I don't really want to stick $1300 in something I will use once every two months. So, if the Fireface 800 would work at home replacing the panasonics then I would be in great shape I love the metering on my Panasonics and I think they sound good but I haven't compared to much else. Any insight on this would be great! Thanks, Brian |

I have the Fireface 800 and the Ramsa WZ-AD96, and I can tell you that the Panasonic sounds better than the fireface. More detailed and clean in the high frequencies. I use the Panasonic as my converters and the Fireface as the interface with my computer (laptop). It works great that way. Peace Marco Quote:
