| Gear maniac | Gear Storage
Due to circumstances out of my control, I have to pack up my home studio for up to four months and put most of my gear in stoarge... Monitors, guitars, amps, mics (dynamics, LDCs, SDCs), interface, computers, synths, cables, etc... I'm sure some of you have been in a similar situation, so I just wanted to find out if there's anything I should do/avoid doing? I'm assuming the best method will be to use original packaging for everything I can, but any tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

If there is possibility of any moisture, store with a desiccant, preferably silica and not rice or other food for mice.
