Thread Starter | soundcraft 8000 PSU!!!
hi all i recently just purchased a soundcraft 8000 for next to nothing (and i mean nothing!!!!) was sitting in a Smart van rental garage for some time... so it needs a good clean and i need to test the desk the only issue i have is there is no psu with it? now does anyone know if i need a specific psu to run this desk? and does anyone know where i can purchase one? thanks all Dave FREAKQUENCY |

How many channels? If it's 24 perhaps something like the CPS450... or the CPS650 for 32 channels, but I'm not 100% sure, sorry. You can get the manual for the 8000 here: Soundcraft - [Downloads] At the bottom of the page are 2 PDF files.

8000's came with the "large Console Power Supply". It is a 3 space unit with a rear fan. It is also used for the TS-24. It has + - 24 volts, + - 17 volts for audio, + 48 volts for phantom and + - 7.5 volts for logic. A CP450 is too small. |
