Had a sigma for a couple of weeks Now. Its got a pretty "instant" sound, in that it sounds decent without much work on placement. Smooth top end. Had a problem with my standmount which trevor sorted out very quickly. Great customer service.

sorry forgot to mention, that was in regards to use on a guitar cab. We tried it on a male singer but it wasn't our thing.

I have a Sigma, a pair of STCs and an Omega in for testing. The Sigma is pretty much as described, it's not a vocal ribbon but is good in other capcities. The STCs follow the AKG C451 template for design and have a nice sound better then many Chinese manufactured, British designed mikes. The Omega is the one that is interesting me at present. Very versatile and has some go in its sound. He seems, in general, to have fixed some of the mid problems commonly associated with the Chinese mike scene. Clearer overall, although less forgiving for the same reasons. Reg
