| Anyone used a VHT head with a speaker sim?

I'm currently using Guitar Rig 4 for my amps when recording because of the classic noise/neighbors issue + not having all the amps I would like. That said, I went to the store today and checked out the VHT Special 6 Ultra. This one intrigued me a bunch as it has an effects loop for my G-System as well as a Line Out. What I'm wondering is if anyone has used this amp's line out into their DAW and used a speaker simulator for a better more natural sound?
I've seen other things used like a Hot Plate or a Weber Mass but it's a PAIN to pull out my AC30. Thoughts/experiences all?
