That's not gonna happen even if every person on earth signs the list, including the third world. It was a good band but it's long since over.

Sorry but Axl can kiss my ass. G&R is Izzy Stradlin and there is no way he is going back. Plus, looking at Axl is quite painfull.
Axl Should have had some dignity and ended that band after the Spaghetti Incident covers CD..

I will sign my name when Axl comes back with the full band and plays a free show for the last time he never showed up..

Pathetic..

I personally, feel that G n R exsisted at just the right time. Hoping to resurect something based wholly upon nostaglia is both foolish and elusive. Just my opinion.

Move on. They came, they saw and they kicked ass. It ain't gonna happen the same way again and it shouldn't.

Agree with picksail, but G N'R would probably be a major "success," in terms of financial rewards that is...reasons:

1. The Music Biz right now is locked in the bathroom, sweat pouring, with a fully-loaded shotgun scared shitless of every tick of the second hand

2. The recent label trend(or panic button if you will) has been to reunite, or "M&A" bands that have already proven success...corporate lingo ->"risk management" i.e. Motley Crue Reunion Tour, Velvet Revolver, Audioslave, Justin Timberlake, Gwen Stefani...even Norah Jones is Ravi Shankar's daughter FCOC...countless other examples out there

You think Tom Morello ran into Chris Cornell at a pub and said "hey, I'm not doing anything right now are you? Maybe we should JAM and see what happens!" That dung is no different than Bank of America buying out Fleet Bank...the inner workings of both scenarios would sound the like the same operation to an eavesdropper so long as words like Soundgarden or Mutual Fund Sector weren't mentioned...

3. By innate limitations of human memory, the general public will always associate G N'R with some of their coolest times in high school like their 1st joint, or BJ, or whatever...history is comfortable, future is scary...The average, original G N'R fan(non-musician, consumer that is) is probably mid-late thirties now, yuppy, and will buy new record and tickets and merch with old pals as a "turn back the clock" novelty, whether or not the record/show is good or bad, or Buckethead is "kinda wierd"...JMO

On the fence as to whether or not this is a thread hijack...feel free...

Definitely a little ranty, but at least topic-inclusive...Is it still OK to say "It's All Good!" or did Ryan Seacrest kill that off in 2002? Ouch...

FWIW, I'm 25, loved G N'R in grade school, until Nirvana(OH SMACK!!!) came along in middle school, but nowadays still enjoy listening to both bands records from their respective peek eras.

I guess we shall see...

GnR should reform with Micheal jackson as vocalist... lets face it's he's a rock singer now and they would be huge and match each other perfectly

:)
