Thread Starter | Where can you find out CD sales figures?
Is there a place to find out how many actual CD's a band or artist has sold?

Soundscan charges big bucks for those figures.

The best way is Sound Scan, but you have to pay a lot of money to have access to the info. Generally most labels will pay for access so if you know any labels you might call them and ask for some sales numbers. I used to work for a record distributor called DNA so I had a Sound Scan password. It was pretty fun looking up album sales of various bands.
