Fast PT question!

Hey all, I have PT 9 HD running on my studios TDM system. Two questions...

1. I just ripped out all of the TDM cards and am in the process of installing the Apogee Cards. Is my PT 9 HD software going to work? It may seem like a stupid question but I think it still might be working.

2. I just went threw my AVID.com downloads and installed 9 on my laptop but when it comes up it very clearly says PT HD 9, then continues and works seemingly fine. How is that possible?

Thanks,
KennyS

Can't answer your first but second, you must have an HD ilok inserted. An HD ilok will register As HD even on a laptop.

Ok well that's good to know. So then if I'm trying to upgrade to just standard 10. Then do I just buy the software or an upgrade from HD back to regular 10.

Is there anything wrong with running HD on my laptop?

Not sure about the upgrade, but you could probably buy the straight 10 upgrade, but it might remove the HD license from the ilok, which would be like throwing money away.

Nothing at all wrong about HD on a laptop.
