Thread Starter | What gear do I need next?
So basically I just got my axiom pro61 a month ago and I've been learning how to play piano and singing in the time since but I'm having a hard time figuring out what gear I need and in my budget as well. First off a mic I'm wondering should i just save up for the $400-$500 range as i dont want to get a cheaper one and have to replace ita year down the line. And 2nd I plan on just making music for myself at the moment and I'm not recording for any bands so it shouldn't be too much equipment. Thanks if anyone can help me out on this one, just throw out a few suggestions if you can |

Do you have an interface? Have you recorded anything? If so, how? It's a good idea to save some money to get a decent mic from the start. If you don't have an interface i would start there. On which one to get you can do a search. There's tons of those threads. |

Since it's a little unclear what you are trying to do, I suggest a Apogee Duet and a AT 4047. Good investment.
