iPhone/iPod Touch

iPhone and iPod Touch have what's more or less a shortcut icon for Gearslutz, but it does pull up the forums in a mobile freindly format. HTH

It is available in both iPhone and Android. I have used both. App store for Mac and Andriod Market for others.

it's a pretty cool app, but there are definitely some issues in the current implementation. FI if you change settings it crashes the app and they are not saved. things like what order to do new messages in cannot be reset. I have a new 4s running the latest iOS and it's annoying.

FWIW I have posted this before to Jules over a month ago and gotten no response and it has not been fixed.

Thanks for the heads up. I was definitely considering the 4s. May just get the Droid since its free. The app does come on ALL Droids right?

Actually meant if there were any Droids that didn't support GS. I want a QWERTY keyboard but the features of the iPhone. I have a Mac Pro and I hope I can plug it up/sync. Had the HTC Trophy, Windows 7 phone and it never synced

I have a Windows Phone 7 and GS is a PITA to read/post on it, because it displays the standard web interface. There's a Tapatalk'ish app called BoardReader available for Windows Phone 7, but it does not seem to work with GS.
Waiting...

Does it bug anyone else that on the GS program for iPhone, when you click on a thread, it automatically goes to the very end of the thread rather then the beginning so you can see what the OP wrote? I find that really annoying.

You can configure that behavior somewhere in the settings of the app.

Good to hear . . . previously I looked around, but saw nothing. But I hate cellphones and may not have looked hard enough. I will give it another shot.

I have a German version, but it's here:
- go to the start screen where you see the bottom toolbar (forum, new, favorites, messages. "more...")
- tap on "more..." (the right-most icon "...")
- then go to "Settings" (the one with the "+" in the icon)
- Somewhere below there should be a setting called "Loading Behavior" which you can switch between "newest post", "first unread", "oldest" and some other setting.

Just to clarify, making changes in settings automatically exits the app with no change at all. (iPhone 4s)
