can i tune a bass with my tc electronic polytune tuner?

I am not a bass player and just got one so i can learn and put my own bass on my songs

i am a guitar player and have the above tuner. can i tune a bass with it? dumb question i know but i didn't know and didn't want to mess something up

There really is no way to mess it up by plugging a bass into it. But seeing how you're the one with the bass and the tuner you tell me . . . Can you tune a bass with it?

Have a manual?
If you actually took a look at it, you might notice the part that says it can be used on 4/5/6 string bass.

trock, you got 1,373 posts on this site alone.
tc electronic have a website and they market the pedal to bassists too.
But you gotta know that! Just google it!

just makes sure that if you do plug the bass in, keep the volume on your bass around 7. Depending on the output of your pickups, the extra low frequencies may hurt the internal electronics. It will still tune great though! you just have to watch your lows.
