Master guitar recording at AIR Studios' weekend masterclass - 26/27 November

AES Sustaining Member AIR Studios is offering AES members the opportunity to spend a weekend at the legendary Lyndhurst Hall in Hampstead, north London learning how to record guitars at a masterclass conducted by world-renowned producer Tony Platt (Led Zeppelin, AC/DC, Iron Maiden), AIR Studios’ engineer Rupert Coulson (Rolling Stones, William Orbit, Sir George Martin) and guest lecturer Professor Dave Fisher (former Director of Tonmeister Studies at the University of Surrey).

The masterclass will cover electric, acoustic, classical and bass guitar recording techniques, and will feature performances, demonstrations and Q&A sessions with three legendary guitarists: Phil Manzanera (Roxy Music, David Gilmour, Brian Eno); Elliott Randall (Steely Dan, Carly Simon, The Blues Brothers) and Leo Abrahams (Grace Jones, Imogen Heap, Paul Simon).

The normal price for this unique event is £450 but AIR Studios is offering AES members a specially discounted rate of £299, including VAT. Further details can be found at Air Studios Training Courses along with information on how to book.
