Losing half my posts - is it just me?

I type a reply, hit send, and the screen clears and stays blank. The post never makes it to the board. This is happening about half the time.

Just me?

that's happens to me on about half my posts.
just cut and paste your reply to the clipboard before you 'send'
that way you don't lose all the wonderful comentary
just repaste it and send it again

I *always* copy all my replies on every forum. Too lazy to retype them, and they *will* always crash and get lost.

You can just try to back up a page, usually the post is still there. Might have to do a refresh.

Are you guys clicking the "remember me" checkbox when you log in ? This used to happen to me until I checking the box. No problems since....

I don't know about them, but I have checked the "remember me" box, but I'm still seeing seeing the problems reported here.

Posting works fine here. The only thing i get sometimes is the "server too busy-
try later" screen. But no freezing or crashing.

The problem does exist..

Hey! If you are ALREADY logged in and get that "server too busy- try later" screen.. - It just means you cant search at that exact moment.

If you get it trying TO log in - it means try logging in in a few minutes / seconds

I got a white screen while trying to post this first go- but then I hit my browsers "refresh" and my post text was still there and it uploaded fine.

It's just about impossible to post OR read on Safari lately. I'll be in disbelief if this one actually gets on the board.

Bedlam.

Have lost about a dozen posts.... maybe more, in the last 3 weeks.

Some of them wayyyy to lengthy to re-construct.

Everytime I forget to copy to the clipboard, it grabs me.

When I remember... it usually works.

Same thing here. It really sucks when I'm trying to give a helpful response, but the stupid posts I shouldn't post (Bootcamp discussion) always post with no problem, I think there's someone reading posts and killing all our lengthy replied just to pi$$ us off. OK, maybe now. I've done 1 of 2 things when I get the server too busy while trying to post and I've forgotten to grab a copy before hitting POST. I either select "go offline" and hit the back button and my post comes back - usually works. I've also tried reload and the post is usually gone. and I've also tried the back button which is really hit and miss. So good luck to you while posting. Guess popularity is getting to this forum, but there is lots of usefull info here.

OK OK we get the message!

We are sending out councilors into the engineering community to work with people suffering with GS access issues.

Honestly - we are working on it!

Hey, Jules:

What about a feature where the "gimme" avatars can only be used by one member at a time?

Maybe that'd be hard to implement, but it's kinda like two guys on a football team wearing the same number.

Cheers!

Max
