Neotek patchbay wiring advice needed ? (Integration with DAW)

Ok... here's what I want to do:

I have a Fireface800 already, and a Lynx Aurora with ADAT card on the way.

I'm pretty sure I know where I'm going with the multitrack I/O apart from one thing.

Tracking the stereo bus back into Samplitude during mixdown.

Connections to the Elan are ELCO/EDAC, and first one looks after master section signals. The console has a full patchbay.

Attached is a pin out list for the master section(go on! it'll only take a second!)

Because I don't have a separate two-track machine/converter, I have to use two of the inputs in the Aurora while the 16outs (and 8 of the Fireface's) are playing back.

I was going to simply use the patchbay to link Outputs of Stereo mix L and R (on bottom in pin out list) to Output of Multitrack 1 and 2. Any issues with doing this ?


I have to do the cabling on a budget, I am planning the installation myself, ordering connectors/cabling myself, and then getting a tech in to do the job.

If I do it this way I can skimb on some connectors like the I/O from 2-track machine.


One other question ?

Can somebody tell me what the 'Studio Output L and R' outputs (midway down the list) are for ? And why is R 180deg out of phase ????
