Console Repairs in Eastern PA/NJ

Hello there folks,
I'm a long time lurker who rarely posts but I've got a problem and i've come to you all for answers. I've got an old Neotek Series I console and a few of the channel faders don't work. I think it probably just needs some soldering and the like. I'm not too good at taking things apart and fixing them and I was wondering if any of you know of someone in the Eastern Pennsylvania (almost New Jersey) area who does something like this inexpensively. Thank you all very much!

Are you sure the problem is in the fader? Make sure the connector for the fader is plugged in the whole way. Sounds like a wire could have cone off or the connectors are not on the whole way. Are they P&G faders? I don't know much about that console. If you can turn a screw driver then you could at least take the fader apart and check the wires. I live in Pa about two hours west of you. I'm not a tech but I can fix some things.I've fixed faders on my Auditronics console before.

Just my 2 cents!

Northern Lights may be able to help you but I can't recall if they're a Jersey company or out on LI. I know Mike Ennis is in that area, you can try emailing him, (I'll locate email and update in a few)

thanks for the input stace!! i don't believe they are P&G faders. i've taken them apart and everything SEEMS to be connected, the bad faders just act as "on/off" switches. the second you turn them up from all the way down, they are at max volume.
