Thread Starter | any midi controllers that don't suck?
i love the sound of my softsynths (arturia, gmedia, ni); but, for programming a patch from scratch, the humble, relatively noisy juno60 beats them all day. what's needed is a controller that doesn't require holding two manuals while midi mapping every synth in the plug in folder. the new novation controllers with the l.e.d.'s look very good, with auto-mapping to the leading soft synths. they are pricey tho, as the 61 key retails for $800 or thereabout. anyone want to mention a controller they actually LIKE the feel / function of? |
