Jules - time alloted before new posts "grey out"

Hi guys, and Jules especially.

When I read the forum (usually twice a day) new posts are in bold fonts with an icon available to read the posts since I last visited. I love it.

However, without fail, I'm called away from my computer before I've finished. When I come back and click on the back button, all the new posts are now greyed out and the latest post icon is gone.

Is there anyway to keep this from happening? Perphaps a way to extend the time before it happens?

Ditto here. As soon as the phone rings that wonderful feature is lost until tomorrow. If the time were extended to an hour I'd be thrilled.

Ha! I never knew about the latest post icon. I usually just open the thread in a new window and hit the link that says "go to first unread post" or something similar.

Well, until it's sorted, what about opening each thread in a new window/tab, so that your page of new threads never gets refreshed/grey? Would the "latest post" icons still work in that case, even if the session time (or whatever vBulletin calls it) had expired? I doubt they will, but who knows?
