Thread Starter | RME Fireface 800. Control of main outputs via MIDI?
I understand that it is possible to control the level of outputs on my fireface with a variety of control surfaces. The manual says that the main monitor outputs can be controlled using a simple 'Note on/off' MIDI message. My knowledge of MIDI is fairly limited which leads me to my question. I do not have an actual conrol surface. I do have a MIDI controller keyboard (EMU X-Board 49). Is it possible to use some sort of MIDI signal from my EMU to control the monitor outputs on my fireface?
