Thread Starter | stacking material to get studio monitors in the right height?
Hi, just bought a pair of Adam A8X and I need to get the tweeters in level with my ears. I don't have any mounts and I think the monitors sound good just placed on my desk. Does anyone know what kind of material that is suitable to place underneath the monitors to get them in right height? I guess it would take something with high density and that does not resonate. Tried stacking up some books but they're too slippery and feels unstable. |

I don't mean to give a jackass response, but do you know that they sell platforms for your speakers so that you can level them to your ears. If not id look them up, think about stuff to make them with based off of the designs you can find. Sorry i can't be of any other help with other materials. |
