Thread Starter | Pro Audio Review cover story: Soundcraft Ghost Mod by Creation Audio Labs
A few months ago, we had the pleasure of meeting Rob Tavaglione (Catalyst Recording - Charlotte, NC). He was interested in documenting our Ghost mod and taking measurements before and after of the specs for an article he was writing for Pro Audio Review Magazine. He brought along editor Frank Wells to run the diagnostics with the Audio Precision equipment. I new they were happy with the results that they recorded, but I never expected them to make the article the cover story of their Aug 2011 issue. We had a great time getting to know those guys over the few days it took to do the mod and run the tests. Thank you to Rob and Frank and PAR for you interest in our Ghost Modification Here's a link a digital version of the entire issue: NXTbook Media - Today's Digital Publishing Solution Below is a link to the digital version of the article in the magazine. No problem. It's nice to have a 3rd party's unbiased perspective.

very cool, thanks! As I'm there, anybody in Europe who services/modifies the Ghost in a comparable way? |

I'm not aware of any facility that has publicized mods on this console. But I would think that there would be a few techs willing to perform this modification for you over there. You would probably just need to call around.

Awesome publicity guys! It's about time, you guys have been hot rodding Ghosts for a while now! Hopefully the article will help get your voodoo out to the masses. I guess we should start hoarding Ghosts now. They might cost double by next year. JJ Crews |

| Thank you...
My first post... have been lurking for a few years and have been hobbling along with my Ghost for awhile (2 channels seem to have been fried by somebody sending an active bass into the inserts and the inserts are starting to crackle and drop signal and there is way too much noise coming from the master section... the usual)... I needed some information re: a power supply upgrade for my Ghost... so I called Brandon at Creation Labs... he was forthright in his information even if he was not profiting directly from it... if I can scare up the money I will get this board thoroughly worked over by Creation Labs... thanks Brandon for the freebee... I'll remember it... Scott |
