Thread Starter | Parallel connecting outputs
Hi Guys! My English is not so good, sorry... Usually have preamps two outputs. One XLR and one Jack. So i have used a long time one connected to my RME-Interface and one for monitoring with the analogue console. Now said the engineer from SPL/Germany that this can be a problem, because the connectors are parallel wired. Two different devices on both connectors can affect the sound quality. I can also route the incoming signal in the RME to an output and connect him to the console, but use them all for other things. Now i became a cheap 6176 and i have the same problem. I thougt in the Join modus can be used the output of the compressor same as the output of the preamp, but that is not so. The output of the comp. is muted in joint modus. What do you think? Best Greetings from Germany, Thomas |
